The org teams won 3 of 5 games. Lehigh Valley won behind Mick Abel’s effort that was a 3-run HR pitch away from being a solid outing. Matt Osterberg gave a strong showing allowing one ER in five innings of Reading’s blowout loss. Jersey Shore got a strong effort out of Jean Cabrera in game one and some solid relief in game two. And, George Klassen led a quartet of great appearances for Clearwater.

Only two games last night as two were postponed. Lehigh Valley lost while Clearwater won. Clearwater had the benefit Taijuan Walker starting and Orion Kerkering dominating the ninth inning.

Three wins and a tough ten-inning loss. Lehigh Valley and Clearwater took different routes to one-run victories. Reading won comfortably. And Jersey Shore was shut out in ten. There was some solid pitching and strong individual hitting.

The IronPigs were rained out Friday for the fourth consecutive game. They haven’t played since Sunday and will play two tomorrow. Mick Abel was scheduled to pitch one game today before Friday’s rainout.
