Friday quick note

I’m up against it today, so I’ll keep it short. We’re getting closer and closer to the time where the games start to count, and because of that, I need to kick it into high gear on the player profiles, hopefully this weekend. Again, if you see that a prospect doesn’t have his name on the left side of the page under “players”, then let me know so I can add him. If anything else happens, I’ll pop in for a quick take, if not, I’ll be back Monday. Have a Good Friday.

  1. Hmmmm. The only Tejada’s I know of are

Cesar Tejada, who played for the DSL team, but he’s listed as only 6’1. We have a pitcher named Walter Tejeda, but thats all I can think of. There’s also Juan Tejeda, but he’s a minor league vet, not really a prospect.

  2. Matt Rizzotti, kinda like an underdog in the organization. He’s someone you don’t hear much about

  3. I’m pretty sure you’ll have a little thing on Donald tomorrow, right? I was in Dunedin today, and man, what a day. Sign that kid up!

  4. When Donald first came up to bat today, I think I was the only person clapping for him. By his 3rd at-bat, he was getting a standing ovation. It was great to see him hit 2 bombs. I was able to talk to him a little before the game and he seems to be a very smart player. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him with the Phils on the bench next year.

  5. I know there was a debate a while back about whether or not any of our middle infielders were capable of being moved to third….. what was the consensus on Donald?

Its always fun to see some one come in off the radar and make a big splash… I just hope he has a future position.

  6. Tim Binkoski was a Free Agent OF out of Quinnipiac College in CT. I don’t see his name on the list to the left. He was drafted in 2007.

  7. Who’s looking like they will be on the Williamsport roster in 2008? Who from Extended spring training?
