Yesterday the Phillies beat the Pirates 3-1, with Joe Savery leading the charge.
Savery: 2.0 IP — 2 BB — 1 K
Outman: 3.0 IP — 3 H — 2 BB – 2 K
Bisenius: 1.0 IP, — 2 H
Jason Jaramillo’s struggles at the plate continued, albeit in only 1 AB, and someone actually retired Greg Golson
Jaramillo: 0/1
Golson: 0/1
I have video of Saturday and Sunday’s games, I’m going to dice it up and will eventually post it on the respective players profile pages.
Does anyone know how Bisenius has been throwing? I see he has given up a few hits but how has he looked?

Much more encouraging outings from Savery and Outman this time around. And I know Snelling isn’t a prospect, but he’s struggled early while Taguchi has hit pretty well, which certainly doesn’t bode well for his chances of making the roster.

im really glad to see golson get off to a hot start this spring. Its doubtful he’ll make the team but could be a late season callup and play the michael bourn role. Hopefully he will keep it up and have a great season in the minors.

I see Golson got another hit today. Jaramillo must be pressing too hard. Relax kid, you’re probably not on the opening day roster unless Ruiz or Coste get hurt anyway. Enjoy the trip. I see a Brown in the box score today. Is that Dominic? Cardenas played and was involved in a DP. Donald had another error. He’s got to work on the fielding side or he’ll never get in a game in the bigs.
