Player profile requests?

I’d like to add a few more player profiles this week. I can either start doing them in alphabetical order, or I can take requests. If you have a particular player you want to see done, let me know. You can find completed profiles by looking to the left side of the page under the player tags…guys with a profile have the small link under their name.

  1. Not sure if I speak for everyone else, but I’m more excited to see the profiles for the higher-ranked prospects, e.g. Donald, Savery, Marson, Harman, etc.

  6. I’d say make sure you have everyone invited to Spring Training. There will be a lot of interest in them soon.

  10. Naylor, Bastardo, Milner, Chapman, Slayden, D’Arnaud and Cruse could make for interesting profiles and would shed some light on how you evaluate players by age, experience, projection, etc.

  12. Mattair, Sampson, Spencer and Bastardo – these are intrguing players about whom I only have limited knowledge.

  13. Travis Mattair. With the two year contract given to Feliz when will Mattair be ready if at all? Will it be Lakewood/ Clearwater in 08 and Reading/Lehigh Valley in 09?

  21. Ha I think the only thing gleaned from this is that we would like for everybody in the system to have a profile! I think you’re safe/in trouble with everything you choose! In that case just do it alphabetically, people might start thinking that you have something against the prospects you don’t do!

  22. instead of more, it would be cool if we went deeper. compare their stats to past player’s minor league stats and to other minor leaguers who are considered prospects.
