Offseason Information

These are the free agent files from the above article.  I’ve been able to keep them up to date as well.

The 2024 Major League Rules, also known as The Official Professional Baseball Rules Book, governs all aspects of the game of Major League Baseball beyond what happens on the field of play.

Whenever a provision of any of the rules in the 2024 Major League Rules conflicts with a provision in the current Basic Agreement, the provision in the negotiated Basic Agreement takes precedence.

The 2022 MLB Basic Agreement 2022-26 is the current, active, negotiated agreement between MLB and the MLBPA.  It remains in force until after the 2026 season.

The MiLB Basic Agreement 2023-27 is the current, active, negotiated agreement between MLB and the MLBPA in the name of minor league players.  It remains in force until after the 2027 season.

The 2025 Official Baseball Rules governs the playing of baseball games by teams in the Major Leagues, Minor Leagues, and the development leagues.
