Not bad from Perci Garner tonight. Struck out 5 over 6 innings of 2 hit ball, but he did walk 4. Cameron Rupp went deep in that one.

Kratz rhymes with Bats. It all makes sense now… Also, a big wow for Tim Kennelly. On the prospect front, Brown, Asche and Franco all had 2 hits, and one of Franco’s was his sixth HR of the year. JRod had a pretty nice line, Biddle not so much.

Austin Wright has been hit around pretty badly two of his last three starts. Strikeouts in May/June are around 6.3 k/9 compared to around 12.9 k/9 in April. Unreasonable to expect he stay near 13, but still, concerning. Anyone with a velocity report comparing April and now will receive one cool point.

Tyler Cloyd with another gem. Hard to look at his stats on the whole and not see some potential. However, his k/9 is down by around 1.5/9 over last year and his walks are up as well.
