VSL PHILLIES DOUGLAS PARADA THROWS NO HITTER!!! Ok, it’s in the VSL and he’s 19 years old already, facing at least 5 guys who are at least 2 years younger than him, and facing a team with a .241 winning percentage, but still. Way to go.

JDeF, Claypool, Dom, and Gillies rehabbing for the first time. And a pro debut from Andrew Anderson at GCL. 2 scoreless. Also of note – Kelly Dugan extends his hitting streak to 10-games. Oddly, his stats over those ten games make him seem like the best hitter in the world. Oh, except Cameron Rupp.

Reposting with the screenshots now. Can I just say that Albert Cartwright is feelin’ it at the plate right now. 15 hits in 10 games, 8 for extra bases, (including 3 doubles yesterday). He’s a 24-yr old in A+, so I’m not calling him a prospect, but impressive stats nonetheless.

I note that 17 yr old Sergio Velis pitched out of the VSL bullpen today after several weeks away. Not so great numbers, but nice to see the young man back in action after what seems like it was time off for injury.
