Box Score Recap 6-16-2012
Bunch of Threshers in the FSL All-Star Game, so check that out. Aside from that, Justin Friend lowers his ERA to below 4.0. Wait, I meant, below 0.4. Goodness.
Box Score Recap 6-15-2012
Trevor May gave up only 2 hits in 6 IP. Sure, they were both HR, but still. Jiwan is now 2 for 3 in 4 of his last 7 games. Nice little run. And Ervis with a good one for Lakewood. Nice to see.
Box Score Recap 6-14-2012
Hewitt hit 2 HR, Asche was 5 for 5, Hyatt struck out 9 in 5 1/3. But the news of the day has to be that Dom Brown left the game after he “tweaked his knee” (quote from Sandberg). Brown will see a doctor tomorrow, according to a tweet from Michael Lore from The Easton Express-Times, or “the Easton paper”, as my Grammy used to call it.
Box Score Recap 6-13-2012
Cesar was 4-6 with a 3b in the Reading double header today. And another nice outing from Mario Hollands…too many hits, but 7k and no walks. Throwin’ strikes.
Box Score Recap 6-12-2012
Hey, looks like Brody Colvin’s back in the rotation in Clearwater. And he took a no-hitter into the sixth last night. ALL HAIL COLVIN.
Ok, that might be a bit premature.
Box Score Recap 6-11-2012
Not bad from Perci Garner tonight. Struck out 5 over 6 innings of 2 hit ball, but he did walk 4. Cameron Rupp went deep in that one.
Box Score Recap 6-10-2012
Kratz rhymes with Bats. It all makes sense now… Also, a big wow for Tim Kennelly. On the prospect front, Brown, Asche and Franco all had 2 hits, and one of Franco’s was his sixth HR of the year. JRod had a pretty nice line, Biddle not so much.
General Discussion – Week of 6-11-2012
Your non-prospect related spot for the week. Enjoy!
Box Score Recap 6-9-2012
Austin Wright has been hit around pretty badly two of his last three starts. Strikeouts in May/June are around 6.3 k/9 compared to around 12.9 k/9 in April. Unreasonable to expect he stay near 13, but still, concerning. Anyone with a velocity report comparing April and now will receive one cool point.
