Larry Greene Jr. drew 3 walks yesterday. And they were all off Trevor May.
Ok, that was a cheap shot. I all fairness, I will state that Trevor May did not have it yesterday. Hard to deny that.

Brian Pointer with a run-scoring triple in the top of the 11th to get the win for Williamsport. Big night from Austin Wright, 6IP, 0R, 2H, 2BB, 7K. And Dom Brown went 3-5, scored a run, and made a throwing error. Somehow that seems better than a fielding error.
Tyson Gillies puts up 2 more hits. I’d say something positive about him, but I don’t want to jinx him. And at this point, with the way his luck seems to run, I believe any one of us could. So no talking nice about Tyson Gillies. Continue reading Box Score Recap 7-16-2012

VSL PHILLIES DOUGLAS PARADA THROWS NO HITTER!!! Ok, it’s in the VSL and he’s 19 years old already, facing at least 5 guys who are at least 2 years younger than him, and facing a team with a .241 winning percentage, but still. Way to go.
Adam Morgan goes over 100k for the season. Leads his league. Leads all Phils minor leaguers. FYI – Clearwater guys are 1-2-3-5 in Ks in the FSL, with Biddle, Wright, Colvin after Morgan. Continue reading Box Score Recap 7-13-2012
Cameron Rupp walk-off single in the 12th in CLR. Lakewood pitchers shut out Hickory. Jonathan Musser kind of imploded in his 2 innings. Continue reading Box Score Recap 7-12-2012
Big walk-off win for the Eastern League Eastern Division last night. That team’s really got a chance to go somewhere. Continue reading Box Score Recap 7-11-2012
JDeF, Claypool, Dom, and Gillies rehabbing for the first time. And a pro debut from Andrew Anderson at GCL. 2 scoreless. Also of note – Kelly Dugan extends his hitting streak to 10-games. Oddly, his stats over those ten games make him seem like the best hitter in the world. Oh, except Cameron Rupp.
