  1. Gregg, nice try to divert all the deadline discussion. AAA and AA teams have both been slidding lately. Dom’s headed to Philly. Maybe the circus will be over and guys can get back to playing baseball. Too many distractions lately.

Tuffy is one of my favorites and I’ve been pained by the year he’s having. He came on at the end of last year and maybe he’ll do that again. He’s not MLB material but he a likable player who big leaguers like Halladay speak highly off… for his receiving skills. Another disappointment is Susdorf. We know he can hit but he’s fallen off the cliff lately too.

  3. From what I read on mlbtraderumors.com, Tuffy was sold to the Toronto org today. Toronto’s having some issues with injuries to their catchers.

Probably more of a class move from Philly than anything else. Maybe Tuffy will finally get his cup of coffee in the majors. He deserves a taste for his hard work throughout the years.

  4. Tuffy move is mostly because we don’t have any place for him to get any sort of consistent playing time. Every level has some a prospect now.
