Good to see D’Arby picking it up. Aside from the past couple days, he’s really turned it around. Hopefully he can get some momentum going into next season in Lakewood (?)

Knapp has been one of the biggest surprises of the draft crop. I expected him to struggle quite a bit while his delivery was cleaned up. Should be interesting to read reports on him this winter after Instructs.

Interesting how far pure stuff can take a guy that throws that hard.

Thanks for the report.
Jacob Diekman, a 6’4″ lefty, is another guy the Phillies went over slot to sign. He’s definitely had his share of struggles this season but I think his best is yet to come.
Any specific indication as to why he is struggling with command? Is he working on something specific with his delivery? How are the coaches approaching his development? Are they trying to make him less of a fly ball pitcher? Also, his K rate is down. Are hitters just adjusting to his stuff?
Thanks again.

Any opinons on free agent OF Tim Binkoski as far as where he may end up in 2009. Do you think as a free agent he can slide into Lakewood or Clearwater as an OF IF backup??
