For players without a video, go to the MLB.com draft tracker here. Once there, click on the link to “draft tracker” on the left side bar. Once the popup loads, look on the far right side, you’ll see “Prospects A-M” and “Prospects N-Z”…you should find a lot more videos there that can’t be directly linked to.
As you can see from this list, a lot of these guys are going to plummet because of strong commitments to college. If the Phillies are unwilling to break slot, many of these guys will be out of reach.
If I missed anyone, let me know.
I love Austin Bailey’s arm action. He’s got a scholarship to Auburn, but if we go slightly above slot, we might be able to sign him away.

There really is an interesting dynamic this year with the day in between Rounds 1-5 and 6-50. It gave pretty much all night for the scouts to re-contact the guys who fell out of the first three rounds and gauge signability. Last year we signed 8 HS players. So far through 7 picks we’ve only drafted 3. If we go straight college today between Rounds 6-10 I’ll be pretty disappointed. I want 2 more HS pitchers and another HS corner player. The purported scout at phillies.com says the Phillies are interested in Pennsauken HS OF Chris Berroa in Rounds 6-10 today. I also think we need another SS somewhere.

I like Seth Blair a lot, especially after re-watching his video
