Clearwater (32-38, 68-68)  Finished the second half in fourth place.  Finished the first half in second place.  Finished the season with the second best overall record in the division.

Lehigh Valley (65-73)  beat Pawtucket, 5-3.  Dan Straily (5-4, 3.76) went eight innings.  Connor Brogdon (3.06) tossed a perfect inning, striking out one, and picked up his second save. 

The IronPigs spotted the Sox a 3-run lead, then came back.  They scored 2 runs in the fourth on RBI singles by Austin Listi and Rob Brantly.  They tied the game in the fifth on Ali Castillo’s sac fly.  And, they went ahead in the ninth on an RBI double by Matt McBride and an RBI single by Malquin Canelo.

Reading (42-30, 80-58)  beat Trenton, 3-2.  Connor Seabold (3-1, 2.25) pitched seven quality innings.  He gave up 2 runs on six hits.  He walked one and struck out five.  Jeff Singer (2.340 pitched a scoreless inning.  Addison Russ (2.54) picked up his 22nd save with a scoreless inning.

Reading came from behind with a run in the fourth on Luke Williams’ RBI triple.  They scored 2 more in the eighth on Nick Maton’s sac fly and Williams’ RBI double.

Jack Conley (.273) went 3-3 with 2 runs scored, a double, and a walk.  Luke Williams (.238) and Cornelius Randolph had 2 hits each.

Lakewood (27-39, 57-80)  lost to Hagerstown, 4-3.  Francisco Morales gave up 3 runs in 4.2 innings.  Victor Santos (4.02) gave up one run in 3.1 innings on 4 hits and a walk.  Lakewood scored a run in the third on Cole Stobbe’s solo HR (14).  They added 2 in the seventh on Abrahan Gutierrez’ bases loaded walk and a double play.  Stobbe (.210) went 3-5.

Correction: Albertus Barber (0.00) threw a scoreless, two-strike out inning Saturday.  Not Antonius as I originally reported.  It was his 10th scoreless appearance over 11.1 innings during which he has allowed 8 fits, walked two, and struck out ten.

Williamsport (32-43)  lost to Auburn, 11-1.  Junior Tejada (2-2, 4.30) gave up 4 runs in three innings.  Jose Conopoima (2.83) pitched four innings and gave up just one run on 2 hits.  He walked one and struck out six.  Jake Kinney (4.43) and Alejandro Made (3.10) got clobbered in the ninth for 6 runs on 4 hits and 5 walks.

The Cutters scored their run in the fifth on Corbin Williams’ RBI double.  Johan Rojas (.244) and Mitchell Edwards (.158) had 2 hits each.

GCL Phillies East (21-27)  Finished in fifth place, 12.0 games behind the GCL Phillies West.

GCL Phillies West (31-15)  Finished first in their division.
