  1. most exciting rotation i can remember in reading plus quinn, should be interesting.

    1. It’s definitely the best upper minors (AA or above) rotation, top to bottom, that the Phillies have put together since I began following the team in 1993. 3 of these guys could easily end up being solid contributors to the major league rotation by the middle of next year or 2017. Not a ton of star power here, but a really solid group.

  2. Quinn obviously will lead off and Alonso will probably bat 2nd, Perkins 3rd, Charles 4th, pointer 5th, and that leaves one of the catchers, one of the SS, and one of the 3b.

    1. Best tap beer choices of any of our teams– can’t beat Beers around the World in CW for variety in bottles. Sorry for going off topic, but people need to know these things.

  3. I’d love to see the 5 starters in succession but living inConnecticut definitely restricts that. I could catch 3 games in New Britain this year so I’ll be looking into that. Reading usually plays NB late in the season so who knows what this pitching staff will look like by then. This rotation could be at LHV by then.

  4. Alonso may play the best defensive 2nd base in the system. At some point like to see him get to LHV this season and maybe an outside chance of a September call-up to the majors.
