    From the game recap:
    “It was not over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, and it ain’t over now, but with the end in sight it is definitely gut-check time for our Clearwater Threshers.”

    Ummmmm….this HAS to be a reference to Animal House. I hope all of you know that the Germans didn’t bomb Pearl Harbor, it was the Japanese. I would be laughing but since the Phillies blew an 8-2 lead in the 8th against Atlanta, I’ve lost my sense of humor.

    Maybe this stupid and futile gesture will help.
