Both were 2006 draft picks out of college with solid short seasons, and have both come out strong this year.

1. He was 23, and pitching in Low A ball.

2. 3.51 BB/9. That might not seem THAT bad, but for a 23 year old pitching at Low A, I’d like to see a touch better. He should get double jumped to Reading, then we’ll find out if he’s going to be a legit reliever.
